Join Yulia Tsinko for a one-day watercolor workshop that combines foundational technique with hands-on plein air practice.

This full-day workshop is designed to take the mystery out of painting outdoors. We will spend the first half of the day indoors at KAS, going over essential watercolor techniques, materials, and what you actually need for a simple, workable setup.

After lunch, we will head to a picturesque, weather-appropriate outdoor location within Calgary to practice what we have covered. You will have a chance to apply the morning’s lessons on location and get a feel for working from observation in a real plein air setting.
