Join artist Sharlene Arseneau for this class all about Oil Blending Techniques! Antique advertising offers a unique background to showcase a graceful hummingbird and fuchsia composition.

Sharlene will take you in-depth to explore the wonderful blendability of Cobra Water Mixable Oil Paints. That’s correct! Water mixable, no chemicals for thinning paint or cleaning brushes required! Students will complete an 8×10 piece in class on pre-prepared art board. The focus of this class will be learning the basics of oil blending and easy to learn techniques of pat blending, chisel blending and stippling to create the depth and contour of these gorgeous flowers and hummingbird. For those who have taken earlier classes with Sharlene this will be a continuation of skill building techniques from earlier classes. There is no requirement for students to have taken classes before, you will learn all the basics in this class.
