Join artist Liba Labik in this informative and exciting workshop! Cold wax is a soft paste made with beeswax which adds body, transparency, and depth to oil paint. It is a very freeing and intuitive medium.

Students will be encouraged to experiment not only with oil paint but also with charcoal, graphite and other materials which can be used with cold wax. You will learn to create layers and glazes to build a painting from the base upwards. This one-day workshop is designed for students of all levels of experience and interest. As each student will receive plenty of one-on-one instruction it is the perfect way to be introduced to this exciting new medium.
