Artist Yulia Tsinko will explore a range of traditional approaches in this fascinating medium, while working on a variety of subjects. You will learn to portray a strong 3-dimensional structure and achieve high contrast in your drawings without relying on softness and blending that are possible with a pencil. Topics covered include how to plan the drawing process (with and without a pencil), communicating depth and textures, line and composition and how to correct mistakes. This workshop is for artists of all levels and no prior experience is required.
