The Amsterdam Standard Series offers you the broadest range of remarkably vibrant acrylic colors – all skillfully made based on a 100% acrylic emulsion and high-grade pigments. Enjoy great lightfastness and a choice of opacities. This medium viscosity paint is easy to work with and offers a smooth color when applied on its own. In combination with our various painting mediums, the paint becomes extremely versatile.
Amsterdam acrylic ink is incredibly versatile. Made with a high concentration of high-quality, lightfast pigments, this ultra-fluid acrylic combines the best properties of ink with the benefits of acrylic paint – it doesn’t fade and it dries quickly with a permanent finish. In addition, you get 56 pure colors, including 17 Specialty Colors – metallic, pearl and reflex colors. This ink can be used straight out of the bottle with airbrushes, technical pens, fountain pens, brushes or the included dropper.
Amsterdam gesso helps you create the perfect base for your artwork on virtually any surface. It provides you with an absorbent surface after drying, which makes it the perfect base for not only acrylic paint, but for oil paint as well. Gesso can be thinned with water and applied either in thin layers or one thick layer to create more texture.
This transparent gesso can be used to create the perfect background for your work. Mix it with your favorite acrylic color and the color will stay virtually the same as it is in the tube, but with the added benefits of the gesso. Transparent gesso can also be used on its own to incorporate the surface you’re working on into your artwork.
This white gesso can be used to create the perfect background for your work. Mix it with your favorite acrylic color to create lighter pastel colors or use it on its own for a white base.
This black gesso can be used to create the perfect background for your work. Mix it with your favorite acrylic color to create intense, dark colors or use it on its own for a black base with a sleek matt finish.
Add an extra dimension to your work with Amsterdam glow in the dark medium. Thanks to a phosphorescent pigment, areas painted with this medium will continue to glow in the dark long after their application. Do not mix this medium into acrylic paint, doing so will remove the glow-in-the-dark effect. Apply the glow in the dark medium as a final layer on your work for optimal results.
