Join Annette Wichmann on April 4 as she shows you step-by-step, how to decorate Ukrainian Easter eggs. Ukrainian Easter eggs are called pysanky, derived from the Ukrainian verb which means “to write.” Patterns are drawn on the egg with wax, which acts as a resist to the dye that is applied. By repeating this process, using different colours of dye, intricate patterns are created.
