Fridays, January - March 2018 - Expanding Your Range as an Artist with D. W. Smith

Expanding your range 02
The focus of this series of classes is to create impact and appeal in your artwork. We can do this by focusing on specific elements each session (see other side of page).

Each week we will take 20 minutes at the start of each session to discuss a particular aspect such as composition and planning, connectors throughout your image and perspective.

Doug will provide short demos (5-10 minutes) to assist in exploring these ideas. You will then work to incorporate these elements in your own artwork using your chosen medium.

Doug is comfortable working all mediums and mixed media and will work individually with each student.

“As some of you will know, painting is one of the great joys in my life and I hope to leave some of my excitement with you, so that you will feel inspired during each class.”
