Ongoing, monthly classes for artists of any medium and all levels of experience and expertise. Individualized instruction in a classroom setting with a workshop artist/instructor. Choose a class time that suits you! Work at your own pace, in the medium of your choice, on subjects that interest you most. Supplies are not provided or included in class fees.

We require 7 days' notice before the date of the class or workshop you are registered in for you to receive a full refund. There is no refund available with less than 7 days' notice, with the sole exception being if Kensington Art Supply or one of our instructors must cancel the class or workshop. In this instance, the full fee will be refunded, or you may have the fees applied to another class or workshop. If you must miss a class or workshop, you may find another person to take your place and you are responsible to receive payment from them. In this case, please let us know their name and email in case they need to be notified about supplies required or other information pertaining to their class or workshop.
Absolute Beginner: You feel lost and uncomfortable in an art store but you are enthusiastic and willing to learn the basics.
Beginner: You have basic drawing skills and some familiarity with a medium or mediums.
Intermediate: You can draw well and you are very comfortable with your medium. You understand the basic elements and principals of design (composition, value, and color).
Advanced: You have excellent drawing skills and you are confident with your medium(s).
Professional: You are a working artist
Please note – you will get the most out of art classes and workshops that are appropriate to your skill level.
Wednesdays, Beginning January 17 - Watercolour and Coloured Pencil Drop-in Sessions with Sherry Telle
Level: All levels

Date: Wednesdays, starting January 17
Time: 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Fee: $35.00 per session, each session limited to 12 students, please sign up for four or more at a time
Each week we will take 20 minutes at the start of each session to discuss a particular aspect such as composition and planning, connectors throughout your image and perspective.
Doug will provide short demos (5-10 minutes) to assist in exploring these ideas. You will then work to incorporate these elements in your own artwork using your chosen medium.
Doug is comfortable working all mediums and mixed media and will work individually with each student.

Are you ready to challenge yourself to an artistic journey towards destination self-discovery? Through one-on-one discussion, open studio painting and class discussion, plus individual challenges, each student will be encouraged to paint more meaningful and personal imagery. Who are you and how are you going to tell your story visually? Your commitment to embark on your journey, explore your process, and engage in an artistic dialogue will lead to inspiration, direction, and confidence within your artwork. This Master Class is a one-year commitment to yourself and your artistic journey.
Level: Intermediate – Advanced; participants should have a working knowledge of the mediums they choose to use throughout the year.
