Please make sure you sign up for the time slot you are after!
Covid 19 information: We will be social distancing with a max of 7 students per room. Participants are expected to use hand sanitizers, and good social distancing protocols. Masks are required per city bylaw. There will not be coffee service at this time. We will strive to provide a safe atmosphere.
INSTRUCTOR BIO: Geerts started her professional art career with a move to the West coast in 1987. After exploring many materials she fell in love with acrylic painting and has been working in the medium ever since. In 2000, Geerts moved to Calgary, Alberta and was able to devote more time to creating art. Geerts continues to work in her first passion, acrylic painting, but now devotes equal time to discovering the possibilities in sculpture.
Connie's Wednesday Drop-In, August 19th
Subject this week: Pixelated Trees
This week I’ll take you step by step through the process of painting trees in my signature style of pixelation. Bring a canvas or board in the size you want to work on. If you have a something else you want to work on, I’m always happy to help you with whatever project you choose.
The reopening of classes is going great. Taking into account social distancing rules, the classes are limited to 7 people per room. We are able to use both rooms for a total of 14 students. For the moment we’ll just be doing drop in classes which I’ll try to post a couple of weeks in advance. You sign up for each class individually, but I’ll have a few weeks up at a time if you want to book ahead. This is so we can remain on top of things if the Covid 19 situation changes.
